These cut-out “post-modern” portrait sequences date from 1988 through the early 2000s.  Traditionally printed black and white photographs are cut out and sequenced to build up contrasting gestures and expressions.  Some pieces are “events” while in others visual ironies accumulate when the same person interacts with themself or presents different views of their personality.
